Drucker
I enjoyed the section from Drucker about managing oneself. Especially the part that basically says workers need to stay in charge of their own careers. Only you can control your future, not the company you work for. Also I though in important part from Drucker is that you need to obtain vast amounts of knowledge from all end of the spectrum, not just master one area and none of the others. I feel this is very true, especially for managers.

I too believe that it is very important to be well rounded and understand all fields in your career. just mastering one are will not give on the advantage necessary to be truly successful. I personally try to expose myself to as many different fields as possible to be a more educated manager. this just makes me a more educated person as well as understand what is going on in my career.
